Overview
The Xora Eye Clinic app was built as a modern clinical system that combines structured patient management with AI-assisted workflows. It digitizes the full consultation process, from patient intake to prescription, while reducing manual work through intelligent automation. AI is used to support practitioners, not replace them. It helps structure notes, standardize prescriptions, and keep records consistent, while remaining fully editable and transparent. A major focus was ease of use. The interface is intentionally simple, fast, and predictable, allowing clinicians to move through consultations without friction, even when handling complex data.
Challenges
The biggest challenge was integrating AI in a way that feels helpful, not unpredictable. In a clinical setting, outputs must be clear and controllable, so the system was designed to keep AI constrained, consistent, and always editable. Another challenge was reducing cognitive load. The app handles dense clinical data, but the interface had to stay clean and fast. This required careful decisions around layout, input flow, and what information is shown at each step. We also had to translate real-world clinic workflows into a digital system without slowing users down. That meant simplifying processes without removing the flexibility clinicians rely on. Finally, speed mattered. Every interaction, from entering patient data to generating prescriptions, was optimized to reduce steps and keep consultations efficient.

The Xora app delivers a streamlined clinical experience that combines AI support with thoughtful design. It improves consistency, reduces manual work, and allows practitioners to focus more on patient care. At the same time, the system remains simple to use, fast in practice, and flexible enough to adapt to different workflows. Overall, it turns a traditionally fragmented process into a clear, efficient, and scalable digital system.
